Bechtel Corporation seeks a senior Control Systems engineer in Santiago to lead design and specifications for plant control systems and instrumentation. You will coordinate with engineering, client, and vendors, mentor juniors, and support cost estimation and field investigations to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes.

Requires a bachelor's degree and 8–10 years (or 12–14 years) of relevant experience, with strong expertise in control architecture, OT networks, and industrial protocols.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience, or 12–14 years with different qualifications.
• Expertise in control systems architecture for mining/metals projects.
• Experience with OT networks and cyber security in industrial contexts.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design of control systems architecture for project scope.
• Prepare system specifications and liaise with designers.
• Guide field investigations, cost estimates, and vendor interactions.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure high quality work plans.
• Review P&IDs and instrumentation controls with process teams.
