Sezzle is seeking a Senior Security Infrastructure Engineer to fortify cloud infrastructure, applications, and developer workflows. You will own security tasks end‑to‑end, from risk identification to remediation, with a focus on vulnerability management, detection engineering, and incident response.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in security, software, or infrastructure engineering with hands-on cloud production security experience.
• Hands-on experience with threat modeling and security design reviews for modern systems.
• Strong experience in vulnerability management, scanning, triage, remediation coordination, and verification.
• Experience with SIEM platforms for detection engineering, monitoring, and incident response.

Responsabilidades

• Lead vulnerability management across infrastructure, platforms, and applications, validate true positives and drive remediation with engineering teams.
• Build and mature SIEM/XDR capabilities, including log ingestion, detection rule development, alert tuning, and investigation workflows.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term fixes.
• Design detection strategies for suspicious activity using telemetry from applications and databases.
• Lead threat modeling exercises and security design reviews to strengthen architecture.
• Apply AWS and Kubernetes expertise to design secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD hardening initiatives.
