Insight Global's client is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and enhance the next generation of its payments platform. This role covers architecture through production deployment, collaborating with product, compliance, operations, and engineering leaders to deliver scalable backend services for payments processing and financial transactions.

Formación

• 6+ years of backend software development.
• Proficient in C#/.NET or similar OOP language.
• Experience with production-scale backend systems.
• Payments, fintech, FX, or money movement experience.
• Microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Cloud experience required; AWS preferred.
• Daily use of AI development tools.
• Product-focused mindset with strong communication.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services supporting financial transactions.
• Build systems for onboarding, payments, settlement, FX, and critical operations.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, and operations teams from concept to deployment.
• Develop integrations with external partners and third-party platforms.
• Drive service reliability, monitoring, and production readiness.
• Participate in architecture discussions, planning, and design reviews.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to mid-level engineers.
• Lead modernization efforts around cloud infrastructure and SOA.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
