Insight Global is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and enhance a scalable payments platform. You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, from architecture through production deployment, collaborating with product, compliance, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate brings 6–10+ years of backend experience, strong C# / .NET skills, and a track record in payments or regulated environments. You will mentor engineers and help modernize cloud-based services.

Formación

• 6 to 10+ years building production backend services.
• Proficient in C# / .NET; other OOP languages welcome.
• Solid SQL and relational database fundamentals.
• Writing and maintaining tests.
• Daily use of AI-assisted coding tools across the SDLC.
• Production AWS experience with CI/CD and native services (SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, Lambda).
• Strong system design with microservices or event-driven patterns.
• Payments, FX, or regulated-industry experience.
• Technical leadership: mentoring engineers and leading reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for payments.
• Build systems for onboarding, payments, settlement, FX, and operations.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, and operations to deploy new capabilities.
• Develop integrations with external partners and third‑party platforms.
• Improve service reliability, monitoring, and production readiness.
• Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews.
• Mentor mid‑level engineers and guide best practices.
• Drive modernization of cloud infrastructure and platform architecture.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and code quality.
