Insight Global's client is seeking a Team Lead, Software Engineering to guide a squad responsible for ERP and accounting platform integrations. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with people management, mentoring engineers, and delivering reliable, scalable software solutions.

Formación

• 6+ years designing, developing, and delivering enterprise software.
• Demonstrated technical leadership with architecture ownership and reviews.
• Experience guiding and growing engineering teams through feedback and mentoring.
• Strong backend experience with C#/.NET; other OO languages accepted.
• Proficient in modern front-end tech such as React or Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices.
• Experience in regulated financial services or fintech environments.
• Extensive AWS experience and cloud-native application development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated release processes.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools and workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of ERP integration solutions and related financial workflows.
• Design and develop scalable APIs, backend services, and distributed systems that support critical business operations.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, architecture discussions, and incident response activities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and ensure successful delivery of engineering objectives.
• Oversee engineering execution, sprint planning, and release activities while ensuring high standards of quality and reliability.
• Mentor, coach, and develop engineers through regular feedback, career growth discussions, and technical guidance.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, automation, and AI-powered development tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with other engineering teams to align architecture and implementation strategies across multiple domains.
• Support platform modernization initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across systems and processes.
• Contribute to hiring, interviewing, and onboarding activities as needed.

Position Overview

Insight Global's client is seeking a Team Lead, Software Engineering to lead a squad responsible for ERP and accounting platform integrations. This individual will combine hands-on technical leadership with people leadership, guiding a team of engineers through architecture decisions, software delivery, system reliability, and professional development.

The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering leader who enjoys building scalable software solutions, mentoring engineers, and driving technical excellence. This role will work closely with Product Management and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver integrations and workflows supporting accounting, financial operations, and payment processing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of ERP integration solutions and related financial workflows.
• Design and develop scalable APIs, backend services, and distributed systems that support critical business operations.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, architecture discussions, and incident response activities.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise software applications.
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience, including ownership of architecture decisions, design reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams through coaching, mentorship, performance feedback, and career development.
• Strong backend development experience with C#/.NET preferred; experience with Java, Kotlin, Go, or other object-oriented programming languages will also be considered.
• Working knowledge of modern front-end technologies such as React, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and system design principles.
• Experience working within regulated industries such as financial services, payments, fintech, banking, or similar environments.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications within AWS environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, or comparable technologies.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and software release processes.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar technologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating with ERP and accounting platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Business Central, Sage, Xero, or related systems.
• Previous experience building or supporting payment processing, money movement, or financial transaction platforms.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding software engineers.
• Proven success leading modernization initiatives, platform migrations, or large-scale application refactoring efforts.
• Experience guiding engineering organizations through growth, transformation, or organizational change.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Oracle databases, or other enterprise business systems.
• Experience supporting high-volume, customer-facing applications in cloud environments.
