Xe is building a new platform layer for cross-border payments. We seek a senior backend engineer who owns problems end-to-end, from API design to service implementation and launch.

You will design, implement, and scale services that move money across currencies, mentoring engineers and guiding cross-functional delivery. You will work with product, compliance, and operations to frame problems, review designs, and push modernization using AI-assisted tools.

Formación

• 6–10+ years of production backend experience.
• Strong backend with C# / .NET; other OO languages OK.
• SQL and relational DB fundamentals.
• Writing and maintaining tests.
• Daily use of AI coding tools in the SDLC.
• AWS experience including CI/CD and services like SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, Lambda.
• Strong system design and microservices/event-driven patterns.
• Payments, FX, or regulated-industry experience.
• Track record of technical leadership and mentoring.

Responsabilidades

• Design and own backend services that move money and manage multi-currency balances across domains.
• Lead cross-functional delivery with product, compliance, and operations from problem framing through launch.
• Lead the build of partner integrations and settlement infrastructure.
• Own production health for your domain, including reliability and incident response.
• Lead design reviews and set technical direction for your domain.
• Leverage AI tools across the SDLC and drive modernization from legacy services.
