Cloudbeds is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Workflow Squad. You will design, build, and operate backend services primarily in PHP and Java, owning changes end-to-end from design to production.

You’ll implement reliable APIs with PostgreSQL, Kafka, REST, and gRPC while collaborating with product, design, and security teams in a remote, globally distributed setting. You’ll contribute to architecture decisions, promote maintainable code, and ship with an AI-first approach using Claude

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building, shipping, and operating production applications.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and/or Java and API design.
• Experience with cloud-native delivery, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and observability.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate backend services and product capabilities primarily in PHP and Java.
• Own changes end-to-end across application code, services, and deployment configuration.
• Develop reliable APIs using PostgreSQL, Kafka, REST, and gRPC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn ambiguous requirements into reliable product solutions.
• Mentor peers, contribute to architecture decisions, and uphold coding standards in production.
