Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a senior actuary for a fully remote role, combining actuarial expertise with data analytics and coding to estimate financial outcomes and support risk adjustment initiatives. The position requires ASA with 7+ years or FSA with 5+ years and MAAA membership, with Medicaid experience preferred.

You will interact with senior leadership and translate analyses into actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• 7+ years actuarial experience with ASA or 5+ years with FSA
• MAAA membership required
• Healthcare actuarial experience preferred
• Strong coding and data analytics skills, especially SQL
• Experience with risk adjustment models and healthcare data is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Run and analyze market-level results using CDPS+RX or similar risk adjustment models
• Act as the team’s point of contact for an assigned group of markets
• Apply knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, finance to calculate financial outcomes
• Develop probability tables based on analysis of statistical data
• Determine equitable basis for distributing money for insurance benefits
• Perform other duties and comply with all company policies and standards
