Howard Financial seeks a proactive Senior Controller to lead the Short-Term Rental and Hospitality vertical on a fully remote basis. You will own the financial health of sophisticated client portfolios, supervise a remote accounting team, and serve as the main advisor to client CEOs and investors.

The role requires deep US GAAP knowledge, multi-entity consolidation experience, and trust accounting, with a tech-forward approach using QBO, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct and PMS tools.

Formación

• 7+ years in accounting with 3+ years in a Controller or senior leadership role.
• Experience in Short-Term Rentals, Property Management, or Hospitality.
• Technical accounting in US GAAP, multi-entity consolidations, and trust accounting.
• Tech-forward mindset with ERP proficiency and PMS software exposure.
• Proactive leader who engages with C-suite stakeholders and remote teams.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end US GAAP financial reporting and month-end close for STR/Hospitality clients.
• Mentor and review the work of a remote team of accountants and bookkeepers.
• Oversee owner-fund and trust accounting structures with precision.
• Partner with client CEOs and investors, explaining P&L trends and cash flow.
• Build scalable controls and standardized workflows as portfolios grow.
