Veta Virtual is seeking a Senior Accountant for a fully remote, fast-paced startup client in the financial services space. You'll own accounting operations for U.S.-based clients, ensure compliance with U.S. standards, and deliver insights to support sound decisions.

Responsibilities include end-to-end accounting, stakeholder management, and integration of external apps with QuickBooks Online, in a dynamic remote setting. CPA preferred and English fluency required.

Formación

• 3–5 years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience managing external stakeholders, ideally from public accounting or client-facing environments.
• Strong knowledge of startup accounting practices and adaptability.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the full accounting cycle for U.S.-based clients, including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Apply startup accounting principles balancing best practices with constraints.
• Make financial judgments in dynamic, less-structured environments while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Integrate external applications with QuickBooks Online to streamline operations.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management, and vendor/client interactions.
• Utilize tools like QuickBooks Online, Slack, Google Sheets/Docs, Zoom, and Google Drive daily; work with Rippling, Brex, Bill.com, ClickUp, Gusto, Ramp.
• Stay updated on AI applications that can boost accounting efficiency.
