Howard Financial is hiring a proactive Senior Controller to lead the Short-Term Rental (STR) & Hospitality vertical for a portfolio of US clients in a fully remote role. You will oversee US GAAP reporting, month-end closes, and trust accounting while guiding a remote team of accountants and bookkeepers.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in accounting with 3+ years in leadership, strong STR or hospitality domain knowledge, and fluency in English.

Formación

• 7+ years in accounting with 3+ years in a Controller or senior financial leadership role.
• Experience in Short-Term Rentals, Property Management, or Hospitality.
• Strong command of US GAAP, multi-entity consolidations, and trust accounting.
• Proficient in PMS software (Guesty, Streamline, Track) and accounting systems (QBO, NetSuite, Sage Intacct).
• Proactive leader who digs into data and communicates with C-suite stakeholders.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end US GAAP financial reporting and month-end close for STR/Hospitality clients.
• Mentor remote accountants and bookkeepers.
• Oversee owner-fund and trust accounting structures with precision.
• Advise client CEOs and investors on P&L trends and cash flow projections.
• Implement scalable controls and standardized workflows as portfolios grow.
