Job summary

Fluor Constructors is seeking a Design Area Lead to deliver 3D layouts and advanced designs on complex projects. You will review models, supervise other designers, and help develop estimates, schedules, and key quantities tracking reports.

Requires a two-year degree and extensive related experience. Strong communication, detailed orientation, and proficiency with common software are essential to succeed in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work ethic.
• Practical field experience.
• Intermediate computer skills including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 3D layouts and/or schematics for conceptual and detailed designs of advanced complexity.
• Conduct reviews of model using 3D review platform and create 3D models of advanced complexity.
• Check work done by other Designers.
• Develop estimates, schedules, staffing requirements, progress reports, and key quantities tracking reports.
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.
• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned
