Job summary

Fluor Constructors seeks an experienced Design Area Lead to manage 3D layouts and detailed designs on assigned projects. The role involves reviewing models, coordinating with designers, and developing estimates and schedules to meet project objectives.

The position requires a two-year degree (or global equivalent) with extensive relevant experience, strong communication, and advanced software skills. Candidates should be capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
• Intermediate computer and software skills to include word processing, e‑mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 3D layouts and/or schematics for conceptual and detailed designs of advanced complexity.
• Conduct reviews of model using 3D review platform and create 3D models of advanced complexity.
• Check work done by other Designers.
• Develop estimates, schedules, staffing requirements, progress reports, and key quantities tracking reports.
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity.
• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.
