Job summary

Marriott International’s Sheraton property in Viña del Mar, Chile is seeking a non-management Security Officer to patrol all areas, monitor security systems, and assist guests with access. The role includes handling incidents, responding to emergencies, and maintaining safety and confidentiality on site.

The position is full-time and on-site, with responsibilities ranging from daily hazard inspections to documenting incident reports and coordinating with EMS when needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property; assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required.
• Complete incident reports documenting security and loss prevention events.
• Respond to accidents and emergencies, contacting EMS or administering first aid/CPR as needed.
• Escort unwelcome persons from the property, maintaining safety and order.
• Notify the appropriate parties in accidents, attacks or incidents.
• Maintain confidentiality of security and property reports/documents.
