Job summary

Murex in Chile is seeking a dedicated Risk Consulting professional to join our Americas team. You will analyze financial instruments, validate models, and design solutions that adapt our MX platform to client needs.

You’ll support pre-sales, implementation, and production support, deliver training, and help clients navigate risk management in capital markets. A bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of experience are required, with travel willingness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Applied Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of functional and/or technical experience in a related area.
• Strong knowledge of financial risk management, financial markets, and financial instruments.
• Knowledge of SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase) and Unix commands is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, high-quality support to clients using the Risk modules of the MX platform.
• Validate and analyze financial products, associated models, and risk profiles, including both vanilla and exotic instruments.
• Design functional solutions and perform technical mapping to adapt the platform to client requirements.
• Manage client cases from initial reporting through resolution and final validation.
• Gather requirements, configure the system, execute testing, and support clients during implementation.
• Develop a strong understanding of client business needs and deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines, following best practices.
• Deliver training sessions and contribute to the development of technical documentation and training materials.
• Support demonstrations and workshops during pre-sales activities.
