Job summary

Murex Chile is seeking a Risk Consulting Analyst to join the Americas team, delivering proactive support and tailored solutions to clients within the Capital Markets industry. You will work on the MX platform risk modules, from pre-sales through implementation and production support.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Applied Finance, or Mathematics, 1–2 years of related experience, and strong knowledge of financial risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Applied Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of functional and/or technical experience in a related area.
• Strong knowledge of financial risk management, financial markets, and financial instruments.
• Knowledge of SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase) and Unix commands is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset, accountability, and results-driven approach.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, high-quality support to clients using the Risk modules of the MX platform.
• Validate and analyze financial products, associated models, and risk profiles, including both vanilla and exotic instruments.
• Design functional solutions and perform technical mapping to adapt the platform to client requirements.
• Manage client cases from initial reporting through resolution and final validation.
• Gather requirements, configure the system, execute testing, and support clients during implementation.
• Develop a strong understanding of client business needs and deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines, following best practices.
• Deliver training sessions and contribute to the development of technical documentation and training materials.
• Support demonstrations and workshops during pre-sales activities.

The Team
