Sezzle is hiring a Senior Security Engineer, Detection & Response to strengthen security operations across cloud infra and applications. You will own SIEM/XDR, incident response, vulnerability management, and threat hunting with a hands-on, impact-driven approach.

You will report to the Director of Information Security and collaborate with engineers managing security platforms, zero trust, and access controls while applying AI-assisted workflows to security operations.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of security, software, or infra engineering experience.
• Hands-on security of cloud-based production systems.
• Experience with SIEM platforms for detection, monitoring, and incident response.
• Vulnerability management experience including triage and remediation with eng teams.

Aufgaben

• Build and mature SIEM/XDR capabilities including log ingestion and alert tuning.
• Design detection strategies for suspicious activity and data exfiltration patterns.
• Lead incident investigations end-to-end and drive long-term fixes.
• Run proactive threat hunts across cloud and identity layers.
• Oversee vulnerability management across infra, platforms, and apps.
