Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a client in Chile seeking an IT Operations & Cybersecurity Specialist. You will manage day-to-day IT administration, support users, and maintain secure environments for multiple clients in a fully remote, asynchronous setting.

You will work with modern cloud platforms, endpoint management tools, and automation to ensure compliant, reliable systems while contributing to security initiatives like vulnerability research and incident response documentation.

Qualifications

• Two+ years hands-on experience in IT operations or admin roles.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration and security basics.
• Familiarity with MDM solutions and device enrolment/configuration.
• Ability to script routine tasks and automate workflows.

Responsibilities

• IT Administration: manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and licenses in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Endpoint Management: onboard Windows/macOS devices into MDM and ensure proper configurations.
• Technical Support: handle first-line issues and escalate complex incidents as needed.
• IT Maintenance: perform weekly checks on patches, backups, and security alerts.
• Documentation: record fixes, SOPs, and runbooks to improve consistency.
• Cybersecurity Projects: devote ~20% of time to CVE research, hardening scripts, and incident response playbooks.
• Continuous Improvement: identify workflow improvements across a distributed client base.
