Jobgether is partnering with a Chile-based opportunity for a Senior Manager, Application Security. You will lead a dedicated application security function in a fully remote tech environment, combining hands-on security work with strategic leadership to embed secure practices across engineering teams.

You will steer vulnerability management, threat modeling, and secure development, while guiding IT and compliance professionals to align with enterprise security goals.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of security experience with hands-on application security.
• Experience building or maturing an application security program including security reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP principles and common vulnerabilities with practical remediation.
• Ability to read and understand code and collaborate with engineers on fixes.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Experience guiding AI-assisted security analysis and automated workflows.

Aufgaben

• Define and own the application security roadmap, including vulnerability management and remediation.
• Lead hands-on security reviews and triage vulnerabilities with engineering teams.
• Embed secure SDLC practices and CI/CD security automation across features.
• Design an AI-first security strategy with oversight and validation.
• Collaborate with IT and compliance to align security with business goals.
• Oversee third-party and vendor security assessments and risk posture.
• Represent security posture to leadership, customers, and auditors.
