Job summary

Sterlington PLLC is seeking an attorney development leader to own feedback cadence, learning design, and a sense of community for our associates. This fully remote, independent contractor role supports US Eastern Time hours as the firm scales.

You will build programs, coach and mentor attorneys, manage stakeholder relationships, and use data to drive talent decisions, helping associates grow and increase utilization.

Qualifications

• Legal/attorney-development background, preferably in a law firm or legal tech.
• Strong L&D program design grounded in adult learning theory.
• Proven coaching and people-management experience.
• Working knowledge of US employment law and its development touchpoints.
• Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze utilization and performance data.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.
• Americas time zone alignment, ideally ET, with overlap.

Responsibilities

• Build a feedback cadence around our culture of feedback.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with partners and firm leadership.
• Create a sense of community and belonging for associates.
• Own learning & development programs end-to-end, grounded in adult learning theory.
• Coach and mentor associates as a people manager to support growth.
• Use data to drive decisions on utilization and development.
• Contribute to talent acquisition efforts and understand how US law touches development.
• Speak with authority to position attorney development within the firm.
