Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an App Security Expert based in Chile. You will design test environments, evaluate vulnerabilities in traditional and AI-powered applications, and tackle emerging LLM security challenges including sensitive information disclosure and excessive agency.

This fully remote, long-term contract role offers about 40 hours per week, competitive hourly rates, and opportunities to advance AI-SAST methods, threat modeling, and secure software testing

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in application security and secure software development.
• Familiarity with OSWE-level concepts and advanced vulnerability research.
• Strong knowledge of LLM security, prompt-related attacks, and data disclosure.
• Experience with AI-powered static application security testing (AI-SAST).
• Excellent technical writing and ability to document findings precisely.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fixtures with representative vulnerabilities and secure implementations.
• Develop realistic test scenarios addressing LLM security concerns.
• Create deterministic test cases and security-context manifests for evaluation.
• Develop reference solutions and hidden keys for AI-based evaluation.
• Refine testing pipelines for realistic, reproducible security tasks.
• Build, inspect, and secure application codebases and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to security architecture design for traditional and agent-based systems.
• Document findings and remediation recommendations clearly.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and review peers' contributions.
• Support continuous improvement of security evaluation pipelines.
