NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a radiology support worker to help deliver high-quality imaging services across CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, ultrasound and plain film. You will support radiology staff to ensure patient-centred care and smooth patient flow throughout the department.

Responsibilities include basic patient assessments, data entry, and assisting radiographers, radiologists and nurses during examinations. The role operates over 7 days, 8am–8pm, with a comprehensive NHS benefits package.

Formación

• SVQ III in Healthcare Support - Clinical (incorporating radiographic modules) or equivalent radiography experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective oral and written communication; plan and organise workload.

Responsabilidades

• Care for patients' needs and welfare during radiology procedures.
• Provide basic patient assessments and information.
• Input patient data into Radiology information system.
• Assist Radiographers, Radiologists and Nurses during examinations.
