NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Radiology Support role to deliver high-quality patient care across radiology imaging procedures including CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, ultrasound and plain films. You will assist radiology staff to maintain patient flow and safety.

The post requires SVQ III in Healthcare Support - Clinical (or equivalent radiography experience) and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, with strong communication and organisational skills.

Formación

• SVQ III in Healthcare Support - Clinical (or equivalent radiography experience) is required or working towards.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to plan and organise workload.

Responsabilidades

• Care for every patient’s needs and welfare.
• Provide initial basic assessment of patient physical capabilities.
• Provide basic information to patients.
• Input patient data on Radiology Information System.
• Assist Radiographers, Radiologists and Nurses with patients during radiology examinations.
