NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a clerical receptionist for the Radiology Department to support high-quality patient services. The role involves welcoming Out Patients and Accident & Emergency patients, guiding them for x-ray examinations, and coordinating information with staff.

You will manage patient data entry in the Radiology Management Computer System, keep both manual and electronic appointment systems current, and help ensure timely distribution of reports to the right teams for patient care.

Formación

• Experience dealing with the General Public is essential.
• Educated to Standard Grade level and have a qualification in English.
• Good keyboard skills with fast and accurate data entry.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities, able to prioritise workload and work under pressure as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Reception of Out Patients and Accident and Emergency patients requiring x-ray examinations.
• Input and update patient information into the Radiology Management Computer System.
• Maintain manual and computerised appointment systems and provide basic clinical advice to patients.
• Distribute radiology examination reports to the correct destination for appropriate care.
