Job summary

GlobalLogic seeks an experienced Lead QA Automation Engineer to drive quality strategy and execution for a strategic AI-first software project with a leading US-based banking partner.

You will define automation standards, mentor the team, lead in-sprint automation, and integrate AI tools into daily testing workflows while collaborating with product, engineering, and operations to deliver reliable software at pace.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA Automation with proven leadership
• Expert-level Playwright with TypeScript
• Experience with CI/CD and GitHub Actions
• Proficiency with Jira and modern test management tools
• Experience using AI-assisted testing tools

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Playwright scripts within the active sprint
• Implement and optimize AI tools to generate test cases from acceptance criteria
• Maintain and scale automation frameworks with reusable utilities and fixtures
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions
• Oversee test metrics, remove bottlenecks, promote quality engineering
• Define QA strategy and standards across the project lifecycle
• Mentor QA engineers on Playwright, TypeScript, and AI-assisted testing
• Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Development Leads to align testing goals
