Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Automation Tester to shape automation strategy for a large-scale game development lifecycle. You’ll lead a small technical QA team, expand automated coverage, and collaborate with engineers to resolve complex issues.

You will build robust automated suites, refine the framework for scalability, and drive quality across the full development cycle. Strong C++ and hands-on experience with Appium, Selenium, and JUnit are essential, with English communication at B2

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software testing experience.
• 2+ years in automated testing or scripting.
• Strong C++ proficiency for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Appium, Selenium, and JUnit.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2) for cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy and plans across the development lifecycle.
• Lead automation direction and prioritize objectives to meet quality goals.
• Build and extend automated test suites using existing frameworks and tooling.
• Maintain and improve test automation framework architecture for scalability and reliability.
• Execute and oversee regression cycles, including targeted manual playthroughs.
• Drive defect triage and troubleshoot with engineers.
• Align with production on technical requirements and quality risks.
• Communicate findings clearly to keep delivery on track.
• Coach and mentor a small QA team on tools and standards.
