Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a part-time telework Process Engineer in Santiago to lead engineering studies for mineral processing circuits, including sizing for SABC/Stage Crushing, flotation, and dewatering. You will oversee test campaigns, interpret results, and develop design criteria with emphasis on operational readiness and on-site coordination.

The role requires multiple on-site visits, collaborative work with project teams, and strong technical communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Extensive experience in mineral processing plants and operations.
• Strong communication and consultancy abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as consultant to clients and internal groups on assignments.
• Review process engineering concepts, studies, drawings, and specs.
• Interface with clients to determine needs and develop study scopes and cost estimates.
• Develop Operational Readiness Documents and transition plans to operations.
• Provide guidance to engineering teams on advanced design criteria.
