Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Chile seeks a Performance Engineer to implement and validate performance engineering for applications and services. You will verify NFRs such as response time, throughput, scalability, stability, and resource use, collaborating with development, DevSecOps, architecture, and product teams.

You will build automated performance tests, craft workload models, run load and soak tests, and analyze bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of performance testing/performance engineering experience with web apps and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as k6, JMeter, or Gatling.
• Familiarity with Locust or similar load testing tools.
• Solid understanding of load, stress, and spike testing.
• Intermediate English proficiency (B1+).

We are looking for a Performance Engineer to contribute to the implementation and execution of the performance engineering approach for our applications and supporting services.
