Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer in Chile to strengthen Kubernetes platform operations and CI/CD ecosystems. This role focuses on scaling cloud-native infrastructure, enforcing IaC standards, and managing mission-critical workloads in AWS.

You will operate Kubernetes clusters, optimize deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions, and drive automation, cost optimization, and reliability through SRE practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years running Kubernetes in production.
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Proficient with Terraform for IaC and state management.
• Strong AWS experience: VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS.
• Familiar with secrets management and secure configuration.
• Experience applying DevOps/SRE in high-availability systems.
• Good cost optimization knowledge in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for production workloads.
• Improve cluster scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Strengthen observability with metrics, logging, tracing.
