Job summary

Bayer is hiring an Unit Lead in Chile. The role focuses on operational execution, squad enablement, and day‑to‑day leadership, ensuring safety, quality, and cost KPIs are met. You will co‑own unit results and support 3–4 squads with staffing, prioritization, and escalation as needed.

This 100% on-site position in Viluco, Paine, Santa Julia requires strong collaboration across functions and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, Agriculture or similar).
• 10+ years of experience in operations or manufacturing environments in agriculture industries or similar.
• Minimum 5 years leading operational teams.
• Strong Spanish and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Co-owns unit results and delivery of site KPIs and unit KPIs.
• Supports squads in executing daily production plans safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Leads and develops multiple squads (3–4) and coaches team members.
• Drives continuous improvement and implements OnePSS practices.
• Takes ownership of the unit P&L and aligns with site goals.
