Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a field service professional to lead commissioning and troubleshooting for OHV Drive Systems across Chile and assigned regions. You will collaborate with engineering, OEMs, distributors, and customers to ensure reliability and performance.

The role requires strong problem-solving, field diagnostics, and the ability to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally, including high-altitude mining sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation & Control or related field with relevant mining truck drive systems experience.
• Technical diploma or equivalent with extensive field service or engineering background in mining drive systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning and startup activities for OHV Drive Systems in the field.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues via onsite inspections and remote support.
• Monitor fleet performance and coordinate corrective actions with engineering teams.
• Submit field and commissioning reports through Salesforce and ServiceMax.
• Support warranty investigations and participate in PM and NPI initiatives.
