Met T&S Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor in Chile to oversee General Construction Contractor activities. Responsibilities include checking materials and schedules, approving Method Statements, and managing specialists. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in a similar role and hold a suitable university degree. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Polish.

Formación

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a Mechanical Supervisor/Multidisciplinary activities.
• Similar role covered in projects that are of a comparable size.

Responsabilidades

• Check VENDOR’s material and technical documentation delivery schedule.
• Control and approve Method Statements submitted by GCC.
• Check GCC’s work progress status sheets and sign for approval.
• Manage VENDOR specialists.

TheMechanical Supervisor (MES) supervises the General Construction Contractor(GCC) activities for their own discipline, ensuring that the Constructionworks are performed according to the erection schedules and Projectdocuments, within the assigned cost budget, and according to Quality &Safety procedures, as well subcontract.

Dutiesand responsibilities

• Prior to the start ofworks, to check VENDOR’s material and technical documentation deliveryschedule, verifying that the same is in line with Construction schedulesand contractual commitments;
• Prior to the start ofworks, to control and approve the Method Statements submitted by GCCensuring their correct application on the field;
• Check that the schedule isupdated and to promote action to recover any delay;
• Check that the equipmentand manpower employed by GCC are adequate and that the works performedby GCC conform to design documents, Safety regulations, and to theQuality level fixed by the same;
• Detect any design errors,and where possible rectify the same or request the DIEs to make thenecessary changes;
• Check GCC’s work progressstatus sheets and sign the same for approval;
• Manage VENDOR specialists.
