Met T&S Ltd. is looking for a Construction Mechanical Supervisor Piping in Valparaíso, Chile. The selected candidate will oversee piping activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. Key requirements include 3+ years of relevant experience in oil and gas or EPC projects, fluency in Spanish, and strong analytical skills. The role involves direct participation in HSE activities and performance monitoring. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Chile.

Formación

• Relevant experience in oil & gas, industrial sector, EPC projects, and refinery.
• At least 3 years of experience in this specific discipline.
• Similar role covered in last three projects of comparable size.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the management of Mechanical Subcontractor(s) for piping.
• Guarantee the quality of the works and their compliance.
• Ensure performance monitoring in terms of schedule, quality, and cost.
• Participate in the elaboration of the work schedule.
• Ensure the implementation of all HSE procedures.

About the project / Job summary

The Mechanical Supervisor – Piping (PIS) is responsible for the coordination of Mechanical Construction for piping activities.

Duties and responsibilities

• Direct the management of Mechanical Subcontractor(s) for piping;
• Guarantee the quality of the works and their compliance with the contractual/engineering requirements of the project, satisfying the assigned budget, time schedule, quality, safety and environmental;
• Ensure that their performances are carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality and cost, and PIS will coordinate all necessary recovery actions whenever a deviation from schedule or specifications is detected under the guidance of the Mechanical Piping Superintendent;
• Participate in the elaboration of the work schedule and in the collection of the progress of the works and analyse any deviations.
• Ensure the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities;
• Directly participate in the HSE activities at site as defined for the PIS position in the Site HSE plan and related procedures.

Experience

• Relevant experience in oil & gas, industrial sector, EPC projects and refinery;
• At least 3 years of experience in this specific discipline;

Similar role covered in last three projects, of comparable size.
