EPAM Systems in Chile seeks a Lead Operational Intelligence Engineer to own the development and maintenance of our Elastic & Observability Platform across cloud environments. You will guide a high-performing team, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure platform reliability while enabling self-service capabilities for consumers.

The role requires 5+ years in Operational Intelligence, deep Elastic Stack expertise, and strong incident management skills.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Operational Intelligence and leadership of large-scale observability platforms.
• Proven ability to architect and manage Elastic clusters in multi-cloud environments.
• Deep knowledge of Elastic Stack components: Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash with advanced configurations.
• Advanced Python scripting for automation and data processing; experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitOps) is a plus.
• Strong incident management skills using tools like PagerDuty; ability to lead during complex incidents.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee availability, performance, security, and SLA adherence of observability platforms.
• Provide technical leadership during incidents and guide cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain platform documentation, SOPs, and knowledge resources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and teams to manage installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Lead platform feature enhancements and self-service capabilities, including AI-driven observability ideas.
