Job summary

J.P. Morgan is hiring an Investment Banking Analyst in Santiago, Chile. You will support transaction execution across M&A and capital raising, build financial models, perform valuations, and prepare client and internal materials.

You will work with deal teams and external advisors to manage diligence and ensure timely execution while developing strong technical and client skills in a structured training environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data accurately and efficiently.
• Knowledge of corporate finance and accounting, with understanding of M&A legal/tax considerations.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques (DCF, comps, precedent transactions, LBO).
• Ability to work under time constraints while handling multiple deliverables.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, client interaction maturity.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to analyze outcomes under multiple scenarios.
• Perform valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comps, precedent transactions, and LBO.
• Prepare and review transaction analyses, including accretion/dilution and value creation assessments.
• Support day-to-day deal execution by coordinating with deal team members, clients, and external advisors.
• Manage due diligence workflows and track information requests and responses.
• Review and analyze company information and diligence materials to support transaction decisions.
• Prepare pitch materials, memorandum, management presentations, and board presentations.
• Analyze transaction rationale, structure, and financial impact to support recommendations.
• Monitor client, industry, and transaction developments and incorporate insights into deliverables.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality control and confidentiality.
