Fluence, a global energy storage and software leader, seeks a Finance & Contracts Manager for LATAM based in Chile. You will oversee financial aspects of service contracts, ensure SOX compliance, manage negotiations, and coordinate with customers and suppliers across Latin America.

Strong accounting background and ERP experience are essential. Responsibilities include forecasting, cash flow, risk assessment, and process improvements across LATAM, reporting to the Finance Director, Service

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or finance; Chilean accounting/tax/finance experience preferred
• 5–10 years of financially managing large projects and service contracts, preferably in energy
• Advanced understanding of project accounting methods
• Advanced understanding of commercial contract terms and conditions
• Advanced understanding of project risk management (insurance, guarantees, liquidated damages)
• Experience developing processes and effective project rhythms
• Experience with project-related activities
• Experience using NetSuite or similar systems
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese a plus
• Ability to interact with executive management and travel as needed

Responsabilidades

• Work with LATAM Service Managers to provide transparency around project performance vs. budget
• Ensure accurate project forecasts (P&L and cash flow)
• Incorporate known risks and opportunities
• Ensure adherence to accounting guidelines and SOX controls
• Adhere to commercial terms and conditions and flag risks
• Manage maintenance subcontractors and suppliers to meet delivery timelines
• Organize project reviews throughout contract life
• Drive improvements via change orders and supplier claims
• Review and process project transactions (purchases, invoices)
• Prepare and review customer invoices
• Generate project status reports
• Understand tax, invoicing, and statutory requirements across LATAM
• Monitor contract penalties and performance guarantees
• Improve project execution processes
