Job summary

E80 Group in Santiago is seeking an Accountant to support the AFC department, handling accounting, finance and reporting processes. The role focuses on accuracy, compliance, and timely financial information to aid decision-making.

You will post journal entries, assist with closing, perform reconciliations, manage fixed assets, and prepare internal reports. A hybrid work arrangement is available, with at least 3 days on-site per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 3–5+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Hybrid work model; on-site at least 3 days per week in Santiago.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statements.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close, journals, accruals.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• English proficiency for international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post accounting journal entries and maintain ledgers.
• Support monthly and annual closing activities, including accruals.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare internal financial reports and support audits.
• Support project invoicing and fixed asset records management.
• Identify improvements to accounting processes and controls.
• Review employee expense reports in line with policies.
• Download and maintain accounting documentation and invoices.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments.
• Provide financial information to support compliance requirements.
