Murex Chile is seeking a Staff Accountant in the Finance Department to oversee LatAm accounting activities. The role reports to the Americas Accounting Manager in New York and supports month-end close, general ledger, AP and intercompany tasks.

You will work with a multinational team, manage vendor invoices, prepare closing activities, and ensure compliance with group timelines. Advanced English and ERP experience required; Excel skills essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a multinational or regional shared-services environment.
• Strong understanding of GL accounting, AP processes, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
• Experience with ERP systems (Sage, SAP, Oracle…).
• High proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and MS Office.
• Advanced English mandatory.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical, self‑driven, and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with multicultural teams across several countries.

Responsabilidades

• Processing of reimbursable employee expenses.
• Managing all vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, tax treatment, and PO compliance.
• Generating and managing purchase order numbers when required.
• Period-end accounts closing tasks, including general ledger entries.
• Work closely with other members of the Finance Team to ensure completeness of transactions for monthly close.
• Prepare annual closing closely with Accounting Manager and Financial Controller based on auditors’ PBC list and group timeline.
• Ensuring transactions are complete, timely, and compliant with group timelines and controls.
