DP World in Chile seeks a Director of Terminal Operations to lead and optimize all aspects of terminal performance, drive strategic planning, safety, and efficiency across operations teams.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in port environments, strong knowledge of terminal systems, and proficiency in English. This senior position emphasizes budget management, technology adoption, and seamless collaboration with stakeholders.

Formación

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Business, Transport, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years in operations leadership roles with port/terminal experience.
• Strong knowledge of terminal operating systems.
• Advanced Excel and Navis proficiency.
• Knowledge of maritime and port legislation.
• Experience in union negotiations.
• Advanced English proficiency; bilingual preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise operations staff and ensure policy compliance.
• Design and manage strategic and logistical planning for terminal operations.
• Evaluate planning strategies with executive team to control costs.
• Plan integration of new technologies and automation.
• Establish annual strategic objectives for the area.
• Build alliances with shipping lines, port authorities and customers.
• Define policies focused on efficiency, profitability, and human development.
• Coordinate maintenance plans to ensure resources availability.
• Promote safety culture and manage safety standards.
• Prepare statistical reports on operational performance.
