Job summary

Atlas Renewable Energy is seeking a Head of Internal Audit to lead the internal audit function in conformance with Global Internal Audit Standards. The role provides independent assurance on governance, risk management, and internal controls across our global operations.

You will report functionally to the Audit and Risk Committee and manage a high-performing team to enhance accountability and sustainable value creation.

Qualifications

• 15 years of progressive experience in internal audit.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in multinational and multijurisdictional environments.
• Familiarity with capital markets requirements and SOX-like controls.
• Bachelor’s degree; CPA or CIA strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of COSO, ERM, and corporate governance.
• Experience with bond issuers and capital markets reporting.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a risk-based internal audit plan aligned with strategic objectives.
• Provide independent assurance on governance, risk management, and internal controls across global operations.
• Report findings and recommendations to senior management and the Audit & Risk Committee.
• Evaluate internal controls, compliance, and ethical practices against laws and policies.
• Oversee audits across financial, operational, technology, and compliance risks.
• Coordinate with external auditors to deliver a holistic view of risks.
• Lead and develop a high-performing internal audit team per standards and ethics.
