Job summary

Atlas Renewable Energy seeks a seasoned Head of Internal Audit to lead the function in accordance with Global Internal Audit Standards, delivering independent assurance on governance, risk management and internal controls across its multinational operations. The role reports functionally to the Audit & Risk Committee and strengthens accountability and stakeholder trust.

Qualifications

• 15 years of progressive experience in internal audit, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong background in multinational and multijurisdictional environments.
• Experience with COSO, enterprise risk management, and governance frameworks.
• Experience with capital markets requirements and public issuances.
• English fluent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a dynamic, risk-based internal audit plan aligned with strategic objectives.
• Provide independent assurance on governance, risk management and internal controls across global operations.
• Report findings, emerging risks and recommendations to senior management and the Audit & Risk Committee.
• Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls, compliance and ethical practices across the organization.
• Oversee audits covering financial, operational, technology and compliance risks with timely remediation.
• Coordinate with external auditors to reduce duplication and provide a holistic risk view.
• Develop and coach a high-performing internal audit team in line with Global Internal Audit Standards and the IIA Code of Ethics.
