Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is seeking a Receptionist for our Front Office team in Iquique, Chile. You will welcome guests, check them in and out, and coordinate with various departments to ensure a seamless stay while promoting hotel services and promotions.

The role requires fluency in the local language and a high level of English, plus flexibility to work varying shifts. You will support our standards and contribute to a memorable guest experience in a diverse, global hotel group.

Formación

• Previous Front Office experience in a hotel of similar size.
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
• Fluency in local language and high level of English.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, TMS, and Front Office systems.
• Sales oriented and flexible to various work situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome guests and complete check-in/check-out for individuals and groups in a timely, professional manner.
• Manage room allocation considering guest characteristics with the appropriate department.
• Inform front office and management of guest requests, inquiries, complaints and suggestions.
• Know hotel products, services, rates, promotions and VIP events.
• Communicate available hotel services and safety information.
• Maximize occupancy at best rates and close sales when needed.
• Use up-selling techniques including DISCOVERY loyalty program and other offerings.
• Handle incoming room reservations.
• Provide information about the property and surrounding area.
• Arrange transportation or other services as requested.
• Follow brand standards.
• Assist other departments as necessary.
• Inform night services to guests (wake-up calls).
• Manage invoicing payments and cash operations during the night shift.
• Run rounds and check for irregularities.
• Prepare night audit reports.
