Valmet is seeking a Business Manager to lead the aerial/regional product and business sales team, guiding customer dialogue, solution sales, and market development. You will drive profitability, customer satisfaction, and growth while collaborating with stakeholders across Valmet.

The role requires leadership, commercial focus, and technical understanding to advance business across borders, with frequent travel and a focus on long-term relationships.

Formación

• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with relevant experience in the Pulp and Paper business or another relevant industry.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to travel more than 60% of the time to customers and across borders.
• Able to plan, analyze, and organize work in a matrix organization.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the aerial / regional product and business sales team, focusing on customer and market relationships, sales, customer satisfaction, and product management.
• Manage profit and loss for your area of responsibility, implement strategic business objectives, and improve efficiency, profitability, and long-term customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate across Valmet and globally to move business forward, support cross-Business Area cooperation, and develop stable business sales and business development.
• Lead and develop a team of professionals across multiple functions, building a collaborative and innovative culture where people can grow over time.
• Drive sales processes, prepare budgets, validate sales cases, support technical and commercial proposals, finalize deals, and stay active at customer sites during tenders, shutdowns, audits, and studies.

Educación

Engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil)

Fluent in English and Spanish
