Job summary

Barry Callebaut Paine plant seeks an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead conceptualization, design, implementation, and commissioning of capital projects. You will manage budgets, supervise contractors, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive productivity improvements on the production line.

The role requires a degree in Engineering, 6+ years in FMCG project management, fluency in English, and strong skills in MS Project, AutoCAD, and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Master's is a plus.
• 6+ years in progressive engineering project management in FMCG/food.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and large CapEx projects.
• Fluent English; strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with international manufacturing environments and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, define work specs, create schedules, oversee installation and commissioning.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues, prevent delays.
• Identify resources and budget needs for projects.
• Select materials, equipment, personnel, and contractors.
• Prepare RFQ/RFP documents and evaluate bids.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and FS standards.
• Document handover and close accounts for completed projects.
