N-iX is hiring a DataOps Engineer to help modernize a regional cloud data platform for LATAM fintech. You will lead infrastructure as code (Terraform) on GCP, automate data delivery, and orchestrate ML deployments, collaborating across Data Engineering, Data Science, Security, and Product.

Strong English/Spanish communication is essential and experience with dbt, Snowflake, and FastAPI is highly valued. The role offers flexible work arrangements (remote or hybrid) across eight LATAM countries,

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, DataOps, or Cloud Infrastructure roles with Terraform and GCP.
• Experience packaging and serving ML models as production-ready microservices/APIs (Python, FastAPI, Docker) for real-time integration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the architecture, deployment automation, and continuous improvement of our regional cloud data platform using Terraform and GCP.
• Drive the adoption of automated CI/CD pipelines for data code, transformations (SQL/dbt/Snowflake), and analytical models.
• Package, containerize, and mantain real-time credit scoring models as APIs (FastAPI/Docker).
• Bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating data infra concepts to business goals and governance.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Security, and Product to align infra decisions with strategy.
• Mentor engineers in automated data testing, cloud automation, and ML deployment best practices.
• Surface infrastructure risks early and guide teams through multi-country cloud deployments.
