Job summary

Kuehne Nagel, part of the Contract Logistics team, designs, manages, and optimizes solutions to keep goods moving efficiently. You will lead projects, engineer processes, and drive implementations to ensure products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision.

We are seeking a Project Manager with 2–5 years of experience in logistics, strong stakeholder skills, and a proven track record in WMS implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2–5 years of Project Management experience delivering complex implementations.
• Experience in Contract Logistics, Warehouse, and Distribution operations (preferred).
• Proven experience leading Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations and IT-related transformation projects.
• Experience managing onboarding projects including new business start-ups, facility moves, and system migrations.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, resources, risks, and change control processes.
• Strong stakeholder management with clients, vendors, IT teams, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, executing, managing and coordinating customer implementations.
• Develop project plans and recommendations; track status of the project.
• Develop strong business relationships with clients; manage customer expectations.
• Control and monitor project effectiveness using standard tools and methodologies.
• Manage project scope and budget; ensure change control is adhered to.
• Identify, track and manage all project issues and risks.
• Develop escalation processes to channel issues to appropriate parties.
• Represent KN in meetings with external parties including clients, consultants, vendors, and others.
• Provide regular project communications and timely status reports; align goals and priorities within the team.
• Document project management results to ensure deliverables meet objectives.

Assisting the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and deliverable timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals and milestones. Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and produce reports for management and stakeholders.

How you create impact

• Responsible for setting up, executing, managing and coordinating customer implementations on behalf of the Project Executive.
• Develop project plans and recommendations in support of KN/Customer objectives. Track and report on the status of the project.
• Develop strong business relationships with clients. Successfully manage customer expectations.
• Control and monitor project effectiveness utilizing K+N Global standard tools and methodology.
• Manage project scope and budget and ensure change control process is adhered to.
• Identify, track and manage all project issues and risks.
• Develop escalation processes to channel issues and concerns to appropriate parties.
• Represent KN in meetings with external parties including clients, consultants, vendors, and others.
• Provide regular project communications and timely status reports, as well as align goals, objectives and priorities within the team.
• Manage and document project management results to ensure projects meet established objectives and deliverables, including project scope, timeline, resource usage and the transition and training cost to budget.

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of Project Management experience managing complex implementation projects.
• Experience in Contract Logistics, Warehouse, and Distribution operations (preferred)
• Proven experience leading Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations, system migrations, and IT-related transformation projects within warehouse and distribution environments.
• Experience managing customer onboarding projects, including new business start-ups, operational transitions, facility moves, and system migrations.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, resources, risks, and change control processes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage customers, vendors, IT teams, and senior leadership.
