Job summary

UN Women Chile Office seeks a Country Programme Coordinator to lead the country programme, plan and manage annual workplans, budgets and results frameworks, and ensure delivery of interventions in line with strategic priorities.

The role requires substantial experience in design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and in building partnerships with national authorities and donors to advance gender equality.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in related field and relevant experience required.
• Fluency in Spanish and working knowledge of English.
• Progressive experience in design, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development projects.
• Experience in partnerships with international organizations and national governments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Chile country programme and annual workplans with budgets and results frameworks.
• Ensure timely delivery of programme activities and compliance with donor requirements.
• Provide technical support to national partners and stakeholders in gender equality and women’s empowerment.
• Manage programme budget, reporting, and office operations.
• Supervise staff, recruit personnel, and oversee performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with UN agencies and national authorities to advance joint programmes and resource mobilization.
