Bechtel seeks a construction automation lead for the Ujina, Chile project to oversee automation on complex mining facilities. You will manage a portfolio of construction automation applications, database systems, and data requirements on site, delivering solutions aligned with project strategy and compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–12 years in electrical engineering, with hands-on experience in SmartPlant 3D, SmartSketch, AutoCAD, and SETROUTE.

Formación

• Requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent).
• 5–8 years of relevant experience or 9–12 years of experience.
• Ability to resolve design issues independently and with other disciplines.
• Experience with an electronic Cable Management System (SETROUTE).
• Knowledge of NEC and Chilean electrical standards.

Responsabilidades

• Revise electrical, control, and instrumentation engineering plans.
• Integrate third-party design plans with Bechtel designs.
• Review and modify control listings for Bechtel and third parties.
• Route load channels and cables for project circuits.
• Update circuits when new designs are issued.
• Issue and control setRoute cards.
• Review and assign reels delivered to construction.
• Manage change controls for information from vendors.
