Global Payments is seeking a Solution Architect for Genius POS to own embedded architecture across cloud-native POS platforms and payment integrations. You will guide design decisions anchored in security, scale, and real-world constraints, leading AI-enabled features and cross‑team interoperability.

The role emphasizes designing APIs, governance, and a shared integration fabric, while mentoring engineers and aligning multiple platforms with a common strategy.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 6+ years of software engineering; 3+ years in architect/lead roles.
• Experience designing/shipping payment integrations and tokenization.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native systems on AWS or Azure.
• Strong REST/OpenAPI API design and auth patterns (OAuth 2.0, API keys).
• Experience integrating third-party platforms and scalable patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Own embedded architecture and participate in sprint ceremonies and planning.
• Lead architecture for payment flows and third-party integration ecosystems.
• Design APIs and contracts enabling cross-platform reuse.
• Contribute to a unified integration platform with onboarding and API mgmt.
• Design AI-enabled features and evaluate MCP tooling for delivery speed.
• Own NFRs such as security, scalability, observability, and compliance.
• Represent POS in cross-functional forums and mentor engineers.
