Job summary

ACECOM Chile seeks a Country Manager to lead rapid expansion across Chile and Latin America, building a world-class team and expanding our capabilities in architecture, engineering, environmental and advisory services for private clients and government programs.

You will drive strategy development, oversee operations, and develop local leadership while leveraging AECOM’s global Centers of Excellence to deliver high-impact programs in Chile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environment, Economics, Social and related profession, and business and management, or related advanced degree.
• 12+ years of experience with at least 4 years of executive and managerial level and a demonstrated track record of successfully managing annual revenues exceeding USD $30 million and EBITDA and margin performance of 8%+ of gross revenues.
• Proven experience managing projects or programs following Program Management Institute methodologies or similar.
• Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish, facilitating effective communication and collaboration in multi-lingual and diverse cultural environments.
• Comprehensive Service Expertise: Extensive experience in marketing and project delivery of environmental and social services, engineering, design, architecture, and/or construction services, particularly in the dynamic context of Chile.
• Strategic Business Development: Established a successful history of leading and supporting business development efforts, resulting in the cultivation of enduring, strategic business relationships that translate into substantial revenue growth.
• Exemplary Leadership: Proven capabilities in people management and leadership by example, underpinned by strong communications skills and a high degree of cultural awareness, effective team collaboration and personal and collective performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the AECOM strategy in Chile by expanding client base and capabilities.
• Lead the growth of our architecture, design, engineering, environmental and advisory services across Chile.
• Oversee local operations to ensure compliance and alignment with core values.
• Manage to a strategy with oversight of operations and allocation of resources.
• Foster a client-centric approach and build long-lasting relationships.
